St John’s Beaumont Preparatory School is a Roman Catholic all-boys day and boarding school located near Royal Windsor on the borders of leafy Berkshire and Surrey. We are very proud of our Jesuit heritage and beautiful buildings, designed by JF Bentley, the architect of Westminster Cathedral. St John’s Beaumont is set amongst a stunning 70 acres of playing fields, copses and meadows adjoining Windsor Great Park, and it was the first purpose-built preparatory school in the country. Our state-of-the-art Sports Centre boasts an 8m climbing wall, fitness suite, ergos, electronic cricket academy, drama studio and iMac suite, and further buildings house the Art Studio, ICT centre, Music theatre, an indoor Swimming Pool and flood-lit Tennis Courts. The curriculum is dedicated entirely to the needs of our boys, with outstanding academic, creative and sporting facilities, ensuring that their potential is realized to the full. Although the majority of our pupils are day-boys from the local and surrounding area, we have a thriving boarding community, and offer a daily bus service to and from Chiswick and from Windsor and Maidenhead. The London bus gives London based families the opportunity to send their boys to this traditional, yet progressive school.
